Utilizing Google XML for AdSense Paid Search

Postby actionjackson » Wed Mar 20, 2013 1:58 pm

I am in the process of trying to figure out how to use Google's XML feed for rendering paid search results. From their site it looks like it is available to everyone but I havent been able to get the XML to work. Partly because I dont know how to use it.

Here is their article: http://support.google.com/customsearch/ ... swer=72326

Turns our you have to have a Google Enterprise Search account.

The XML API information is here: https://developers.google.com/custom-se ... ults?hl=en

It references that it is available to Google Site Search publishers only. When click that you end up here:

Pricing isnt that bad but if you arent sure you are going to make your money back it might be worth passing:
http://www.google.com/enterprise/search ... icing.html

I was really hoping to test whether or not Google still required the js when you were using XML to get your results/ads. I am assuming they do but wanted to confirm.
